Loofah Doofah soap

Loofah Doofah soap

Did you know that a loofah grows on a vine and looks rather like a cucumber or courgette? After harvesting the fruit, the flesh and skin are removed to reveal the spongy structure we all know and love as the loofah. Much more environmentally friendly than scooping sea sponges off the sea floor (obviously), the loofah is an ideal bathroom companion for exfoliating the skin. Armed with this interesting morsel of knowledge we created a range of moisturising and sliceable glycerine soap loaves with an embedded loofah to help stimulate sluggish skin and buff the body to a smooth and soft finish.
